This is the official livejournal of The Process of Moving. We are an emotional melodic hard rock-core band located in Nashville, TN. You can check us out at www.theprocessofmoving.com
Our music is for fans of Thrice, Finch, Glassjaw, A Static Lullaby, and Coheed and Cambria. Not to say we sound like these bands, but there are traces of them in our music.
Formerly known as Dis-missile from Memphis, TN. Relocated to Nashville in August, 2003. Has performed with such bands as Nickelback (roadrunner), Filter (warner bros.), Stroke 9 (universal), Calico System (eulogy), The Judas Cradle (eulogy), If Hope Dies (ironclad), Haste (century media), Planes Mistaken for Stars (deep elm), Codeseven (equal vision), Saliva (island/def jam), Bear Vs. Shark (equal vision), The Working Title (universal), Die Trying (island/def jam), Audiovent (atlantic), SR-71 (rca), July for Kings (mca)
